Poison Garden is an activity in The ClueFinders 5th Grade Adventures: Secret of the Living Volcano.
Description[]
In order to locate buried CrypTiles, the player must read the warnings above the map, and then create a set of directions that adheres to the warnings. The directions are created by clicking and dragging stone tablets with individual steps written on them onto the sign to the left of the map. After filling all of the empty spaces in the sign, any tablets that were incorrectly placed will be reset to their original places on the ground, while tablets that were correctly placed will remain in the sign. When the correct set of instructions has been created, Joni will go to retrieve the buried CrypTile.
Leveling[]
The activity has four levels. The content for each level is described below:
- Level one: Each set of directions requires three steps. The burial spot of the CrypTile is marked on the map.
- Level two: Each set of directions requires three steps. The burial spot of the CrypTile may be included as a clue.
- Level three: Each set of directions requires four steps. The player may need to read a legend to find the correct route.
- Level four: Each set of directions requires four steps. The player needs to be able to read latitude and longitude markings on the map to find the correct route.
